Deep Tide TechFlow News, June 3rd, edgeX issued a statement regarding an abnormal fluctuation at $EDGE in the early morning of June 2, 2026, stating that this incident was an attack targeting the $EDGE token price. The edgeX protocol has always operated normally, and user assets remained secure throughout the process. The team’s address on the blockchain can be verified to confirm that no selling, price manipulation, or other improper behaviors occurred.

edgeX stated that it will provide goodwill compensation to users who experienced actual realized losses due to forced liquidations or stop-losses of $EDGE long positions in edgeX Perp V1 and V2 between 04:50 and 06:00 (UTC+8) on June 2. Each user will receive up to 100,000 USDC. The compensation will be distributed in two phases: 50% in USDC within 7 days after verification, and the remaining 50% calculated based on $EDGE 7-day TWAP, to be paid in EDGE tokens during the first week of April 2027.
