Trust Wallet partners with BNB Chain and CoinMarketCap to launch AI Trading Agent Hackathon, with a total prize pool of $36k.

BlockBeats News, June 3rd, according to an official announcement, Trust Wallet announced in partnership with BNB Chain and CoinMarketCap the official launch of the "BNB Hack: AI Trading Agents" hackathon, with a total prize pool of $36k. Trust Wallet Agent Kit is the core on-chain execution technology stack for this event. This hackathon also marks Trust Wallet Agent Kit's first role as a core infrastructure, fully integrating into the top-tier AI Agent hackathon competition system.

This hackathon features two main tracks: "Autonomous Trading Agent" (prize pool of $24,000, with 5 winners) and "Strategy Skills" (prize pool of $6,000, with 3 winners), along with three partner-specific awards of $2,000 each. In the "Autonomous Trading Agent" track, participants must use Trust Wallet Agent Kit to implement local self-custody signing, autonomous operation mode, and on-chain trading execution, applied in native BNB Chain scenarios such as PancakeSwap and BSC perpetual contracts; the "Strategy Skills" track does not require execution layer involvement, where participants build backtestable strategy plans based on 12 data tools including market data from CoinMarketCap MCP, technical indicators, on-chain data, sentiment, and news.

The first track primarily evaluates based on real trading PnL, with a maximum drawdown limit as a risk control threshold; the second track is scored comprehensively by a judging panel based on four dimensions: technical execution, originality, practical value, and presentation. The build window runs from June 3rd to June 21st, with trading taking place from June 22nd to 28th. The winners will be announced during the week of July 6th. In addition to cash prizes, winning teams will receive CoinMarketCap Pro API subscription points, mentorship from CMC Labs, and BNB Chain Kickstart ecosystem support packages.
