From 0.01 shares to 1 share—My NVDA Accumulation Plan

When I first bought NVDA, I only purchased 0.01 shares because I wasn't sure about Gate's experience and whether I could hold long-term. After a week of using it, I decided to increase my investment.

My plan is: over the next three months, increase my NVDA holdings to 1 full share. At the current price of around $225, 1 share costs $225. I don't have that much idle money on hand, so I plan to buy in batches.

Specific execution: each month, set aside $75 from my salary, invest it in three weekly installments, $25 each week. If there's a big drop (for example, a single-day decline of over 3%), I will buy an extra $25. After three months, I should have accumulated enough for 1 share.

This plan is written here; please supervise me. After three months, I will come back to the forum and post, showing off my 1 NVDA share. If I don't achieve it, I voluntarily promise to send a $2 red envelope to each of the first 10 commenters.

Some might say: 1 share is only a couple of hundred dollars, is it worth making such a fuss? I think it is. Because the difference between 1 share and 0.01 shares isn't the amount, but the mindset. When you hold 1 share, your gains and losses are measured in "dollars," not "cents." You'll take each trade more seriously and pay closer attention to the company's fundamentals.

Moreover, 1 share is an integer, which has a ceremonial feel. Just like your first time buying 1 BTC (although that's hard now). I hope this is my first step toward becoming a serious investor.

Gate supports fractional shares, but I don't plan to keep buying fractional shares forever. My goal is to reach a whole number. Once I reach 1 share, the next goal is 10 shares. Step by step, no rush.
