Ledger Donjon, this round of audits is tough enough—directly finding hardware-level vulnerabilities in competitor chips; industry oversight still has to look at what the rivals are doing.

Trezor and Tropic Square Disclose Hardware Vulnerabilities, Protecting Users’ Funds
Crypto界网消息称,Trezor and Tropic Square disclosed a hardware-level vulnerability found in the Tropic01 secure element chip used in the Trezor Safe 7 wallet. The vulnerability was independently identified by Ledger Donjon during an audit, and research shows that laboratory laser fault injection attacks could extract secrets from the chip and bypass firmware signature checks. Trezor stated that this vulnerability only affects one layer of the Safe 7's three-layer independent security mechanism and will not compromise user PINs, wallets, or funds. Both companies confirmed that funds are secure, and users do not need to take any action. Trezor CEO Matej Žák said that the Safe 7 is designed with multiple independent security mechanisms to prevent single points of failure from threatening funds.
