You can’t scream “playing God!” at abortion while popping insulin for diabetes, pumping chemo into cancer patients, scheduling C-sections, freezing embryos with IVF, or popping Viagra for you limp dick. You’re not against “interfering with nature.” You’re not some consistent defender of divine will. You’re perfectly fine with medicine when it saves lives, extends life, or help men get it up. The second women use safe, legal medical care to control their own bodies and futures? Suddenly it’s “playing God.” This was never about theology or consistency. It’s about control. It’s about punishing women for having agency over their reproduction while you cheer every other scientific intervention that serves your comfort. Stop pretending your position is principled. It’s selective outrage dressed up as morality. Women aren’t asking for your permission to make healthcare decisions.
