Stripe, Visa, and Mastercard are close to launching a new stablecoin platform, and Coinbase is also exploring the possibility of participating in the platform. Coinbase, Stripe, and Visa declined to comment, and Mastercard did not respond as of press time. According to CoinGecko data, the total market capitalization of stablecoins is approximately $325 billion.
