Morgan Stanley: Expected earnings per share of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index will grow by 40% by 2026

Golden Financial reports that on June 3rd, Morgan Stanley Asia and Emerging Markets Equity Strategist Daniel Black recently presented a medium-term outlook at the Global Macro Forum, predicting that by 2026, the MSCI Emerging Markets Index earnings per share will grow by 40%, and by 2027, it will decline to 9%, slightly below market consensus expectations. The current consensus earnings revisions for emerging markets are mainly driven by the information technology and energy sectors. The institution expressed optimism about North Asia, Brazil, Greece, Hungary, and Saudi Arabia, with even greater optimism for China's A-share market, and emphasized that capital expenditure is preferable to consumption.
