This is my fourth bear market. The funny thing is they’re never as different as people think they are.

First you get the cracks:
- Price stops making highs
- Bounces get weaker
- Volume dries up
- Narratives that were ripping 2 weeks ago suddenly can’t hold attention for more than a day.
Then everyone starts explaining why “this time is different.” Until it isn’t…
Then comes the part I’ve seen every cycle: people stop talking about targets and start talking about survival. The same accounts posting rocket emojis at the highs disappear.
The same traders calling every dip a buying opportunity start waiting for lower prices. The same influencers who were certain we were going higher suddenly become macro experts about even lower targets.
And eventually?
New lows arrive when most people are finally convinced they already have. Different bear cycle. Same human behaviour.
Every. Single. Time. Curious…
How many bear markets have you actually traded through?
