These days, I've been talking about sharding/parallelism again, it sounds quite lively, like a new narrative of "solving everything." But I've looked at waveform charts for so long that I start to become numb: the grander the narrative, the easier it is to overlook the most basic issues—where is the safest place to hold assets, and how do you exit if something really goes wrong.

Especially now, between Layer 2s, the competition is about TPS, fees, and ecosystem subsidies, it's as noisy as a popularity contest... Frankly, no matter how good the data looks, you have to ask: who holds the bridge, contract permissions, upgrade keys? Is the exit window and liquidity sufficient? I’ll just keep my positions small for now, prefer to earn less, at least I can sleep peacefully. That’s all for now.
