The U.S. military claims to have attacked an Iran-related oil tanker, causing it to lose its navigability.
CCTV reports: On June 2, the U.S. military opened fire on the Lexie oil tanker sailing toward Iran’s Halek Island in the Arabian Gulf, causing it to lose its ability to navigate. The U.S. side said the ship repeatedly refused warnings and bypassed the blockade multiple times within 24 hours. Then, U.S. military aircraft fired Hellfire missiles at its ship’s cargo area. Since the blockade began on April 13, the U.S. military has disabled six merchant vessels and forced 122 ships to reroute, and the ceasefire is still ongoing.
