The final draft of the U.S. FISA Act Section 702 compromise proposes to move up the termination date of the CBDC ban by six months.

Mars Finance News, according to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, the final text of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Section 702 compromise proposed by U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Tom Cotton includes a Fed CBDC ban originally included in the Housing Act. It is expected that this text will become law. Notably, the termination date of this ban has been moved up from December 31, 2030, to June 12, 2029.
