Mars Finance News, June 3rd, Wall Street investment bank Stifel raised its rating for Marvell Technology (MRVL) in its latest research report, with analyst Tore Svanberg significantly increasing the target price from $230 to $321, maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst stated that Marvell CEO Matt Murphy's keynote speech at COMPUTEX 2026, titled "The Future of AI Depends on Connectivity," "basically aligns with previously disclosed information," but this high-profile event notably enhanced the market's recognition of Marvell's position in data centers and the AI ecosystem.
The analyst emphasized Marvell's leading layout in AI data center optical interconnects, silicon photonics, custom silicon/XPU, and switches (such as the 102.4 Tbps Teralynx T100), which are the "biggest bottleneck after computing power" in the era of GPU scale-up.
The deep collaboration with NVIDIA on NVLink Fusion (NVIDIA previously invested $2 billion strategically) has been further amplified by the market, serving as strong validation for Marvell's long-term growth story.

MRVL’s latest rating upgrade is a bit too aggressive—230 to 321—institutions finally get the story behind optical interconnects.
