A senior Hezbollah official in Lebanon, Qumati, said that Hezbollah and its allies do not accept any “partial ceasefire,” and are only pursuing a comprehensive, genuine ceasefire; they cannot return to the pre-conflict situation.
Meanwhile, reports say Israeli forces have continued to carry out airstrikes on southern Lebanon, killing at least 12 people and injuring 4, with the casualties including members of the government forces.
Hezbollah said its armed forces launched attacks against Israeli forces in southern Lebanon on the 2nd.
