Mars Finance News: On June 3, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio said at a congressional hearing that the Trump administration will not lift sanctions on Iran as a trade-off to secure the resumption of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that any easing of sanctions must be predicated on Iran abandoning its nuclear program, and said that the core reason the United States imposes sanctions on Iran is its highly enriched uranium enrichment and related nuclear activities. As the Iran conflict enters its fourth month, lawmakers from both parties in the U.S. Congress continue to question the government’s war strategy and the path to ending the conflict. Rubio said Iran had attempted to shield its nuclear program by strengthening its conventional military capabilities, which is also one of the key reasons behind the Trump administration’s decision to take military action. He also revealed that there are signs indicating that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, is becoming increasingly involved in the negotiation process.

Rubio's words translate to: Want to have civil aviation? First give up nuclear weapons. Old trick.

Does linking the Strait of Hormuz navigation and nuclear abandonment mean Iran will accept this deal?

High-abundance uranium enrichment is the key, everything else is just smoke and mirrors.
