The market is not good, a bit boring.

Comment on some furniture and appliances bought 7 years ago.
1. Gas water heater.
Bought a Rinnai, has been in normal service for 7 years, no issues at all. Feels like it could last more than ten years.
2. Dishwasher
Bought a Siemens, had one malfunction, water pooled at the bottom causing a trip, just took it out and drained the water. The door handle broke on one side, but I fixed it. Hope it can last another 3 years, aiming for a full 10 years to be satisfied.
3. Bed
Bought an IKEA metal bed frame, I am very satisfied. Very stable, easy to move, unlike wooden beds that tend to loosen and mold. But I actually prefer traditional ancient Chinese beds, with all sides and the top enclosed, for a better sense of security. Now I can only rely on a mosquito net for a bit of similar security.
4. Smart toilet
Bought Hengjie, has been in normal service for 7 years, no issues. Not wanting to shower every day in winter, it’s great for washing the butt. I replaced its socket with one that has a switch, so I can control it easily.
5. Computer monitor
Bought an Acer 32-inch, spent over 3,000 yuan. The 144Hz refresh rate is a trap; in winter, it causes screen flickering, so I set it to 60Hz for normal use. Still usable now, but there’s some light leakage around the edges.
6. Computer tower
Bought it during Double 12 in 2017 from Haier, has replaced the power supply, RAM, and hard drive, in normal service. Hope to use it for another 3 years, aiming for a total of 12 years to be satisfied.
7. Refrigerator
Bought Haier, still in normal service.
8. Washing machine
Bought a Little Swan, spent over 3,000 yuan, with many functions, but I haven’t used most of them. Currently in normal service. Hope to use it for 10 years.
9. Range hood
Bought a Vatti, not easy to disassemble and clean. Called someone on JD.com to help clean it, but they were very unskilled and didn’t do a good job. Planning to use it for a few more years before replacing it, no more cleaning.
10. Children's desk and chair
Spent over 2,000 yuan on a black-and-white set, but it’s not very practical. Not as good as the adjustable desk I bought on Pinduoduo for over 200 yuan.
Currently used to hold the computer.
11. Water purifier
Bought a Xiaomi, no particular feeling, just hasn’t broken. It indeed removes sediments from the water, and the disinfectant smell from tap water is gone.
12. Air purifier
Bought a Xiaomi, a bit noisy, usually not turned on, only used when the air conditioner is on. Because the air conditioner stirs up dust, it’s healthier to use it.
13. Fresh air system
Bought a Yuanda, doesn’t seem to do much, only turned on in summer when the air conditioner is on.
14. Lighting fixtures
Bought NVC downlights, all broken.
Bought Oppein living room and bedroom lights, only one broke.
Bought Panasonic balcony ceiling light, none broken.
