And according to Iranian media, alarms also sounded over Bahrain. Iranian media reported earlier on the 3rd that an explosion was heard over Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz. However, Iran’s Islamic Republic Broadcasting reported that the attack on the U.S. military base occurred immediately after an explosion was heard on Qeshm Island.
