Today it rained, traffic was so bad I started doubting my life, and the coffee in the cup holder was shaken so much it cooled down... Turns out, opening the DAO forum made it even colder. Many proposals superficially say "incentive alignment" and "community co-creation," but basically it's just tightening the reins on voting rights and fund disbursement: either tying subsidies to specific roles or stuffing key parameters into multi-signature or committees, leaving the community only responsible for clicking "agree."

What's more annoying is that now everyone casually throws on-chain data tools and screenshot tags as evidence, but those things are lagging, and can be misleading. Just slap on a label like "long-term contributor / whale / suspected witch" to steer the narrative. When I look at proposals, I increasingly focus on two things: where the money flows, and who holds the power. No matter how nice the wording... forget it, let's just leave it at that.
