I feel like a lot of people are going on and on about modularization and the DA layer, but ordinary users should really figure out the “key” part first… If your assets aren’t that big yet and you’re just using them day to day, a hardware wallet is enough. The thing I’m most afraid of is making basic mistakes—like tossing your seed phrase around at random or taking screenshots and uploading them to the cloud. Once the money slowly grows, I’ll be more inclined to use multisig: not because it’s cool, but because it breaks up the “single point of failure,” even if it’s a bit more of a hassle. Social recovery is pretty tempting too, but let’s be real—it’s more like shifting the risk to “people” and processes; picking the right trusted people matters more than picking the right chain. Anyway, I don’t dream of getting rich overnight—I just want to make sure I don’t wake up one day to find my coins are gone.
