💎 TON Token to Rebrand as Gram
TON's native ecosystem token will soon revert to its original name, Gram, as first introduced in the project's initial whitepaper by the Durov brothers. Pavel Durov announced the transition will take about three weeks.
The blockchain will keep the name TON, with the rebranding applying only to the token itself. Gram was the original name back in 2018 when the project raised around $1.7 billion in funding. The team aims to "return to its roots" and start a new chapter for the ecosystem.
