Masayoshi Son Reclaims the Title of Asia's Richest Person

BlockBeats News, June 2nd, Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List shows that SoftBank Group founder and CEO Masayoshi Son's net worth has risen to $100.7 billion, surpassing Indian billionaires Ambani and Adani, and returning to the top spot as Asia's richest person for the first time in over ten years.

SoftBank's stock price surged by 14.71% yesterday, with a market capitalization of 48 trillion yen (approximately $480k), surpassing Toyota's approximately 46 trillion yen, officially ending Toyota's more than twenty-year streak as Japan's largest listed company by market value.

As of today's close on the Tokyo stock market, SoftBank's market cap further increased to 49.30 trillion yen, while Toyota's was 44.92 trillion yen.
