Recently, I’ve been looking into restaking and shared security—everyone’s been calculating “yield stacking.” I automatically add a line in my head: don’t also stack illusions… Plainly put, security isn’t something you can just “pick up”; it’s someone else bearing the risk. After all the layers get packaged together, when something goes wrong, who ends up footing the bill? Sometimes I can’t even tell, let alone if you actually run into something like a chain-reaction liquidation.

The modular, DA-layer narrative is being discussed with great excitement by developers, while users (like me) are completely baffled: are they expanding capacity, or just expanding the story? Right now, I’ve got one word: wait. Wait for confirmation, wait for callbacks, and also wait until I’ve thought it through myself. Keep your positions smaller, put less chili, and don’t treat margin like faith.
