US media: The number of weekly active users of Codex has exceeded 4 million, with knowledge workers accounting for about one-fifth.

Golden Finance reports that on June 2nd, according to AXIOS, knowledge workers currently account for about one-fifth of OpenAI Codex users, and their growth rate is more than three times that of the developer community. According to the company, Codex now has over 4 million active weekly users, a number that has increased more than fivefold since OpenAI launched the desktop application in February. Among knowledge workers, the fastest-growing task type is data analysis, with a week-over-week increase of 110%; research work grew by 37%; tasks related to knowledge assets increased by 36%. Currently, over 60% of users perform more than one Codex task during a certain period of the day, a significant increase from less than half in mid-April.
