two ways an AI can look up a memory

first way: find whatever sounds closest to the question
that's how most memory layers work
ask "what's the deadline?" → it looks for text that sounds like "deadline"
👉it works sometimes but breaks when the words don't match but the meaning does
second way: follow the connections
"deadline" → linked to → "project" → linked to → "thursday update"
👉no word matching needed, the accuracy is way higher
usual memory layers use the first, @sibylcap uses the second
that’s why $SIBYL performed TOP 2 on LongMemEval benchmark
