Mars Finance News, June 2nd, "New Stock God" Serenity posted a message implying that today’s cooperation announcement with a photonics company is "the most decisive event" in the company's history. Serenity pointed out that the company's laser has become an industry standard laser for CPO (co-packaged optics), Pluggables (pluggable modules), and SiPH (silicon photonics), directly benefiting AI chip giants using related foundries, including NVDA, AVGO, AMD, and MRVL. Finally, Serenity teased and asked the community: "Does anyone know the name of this company?" Community discussions revealed that the company is Serenity’s heavily held stock SIVE. Sivers Semiconductors (SIVE) announced today that it has reached a strategic partnership with GlobalFoundries (GFS). Its laser array will be integrated into GFs silicon photonics platform and SCALE optical engine reference design, supporting AI data center optical interconnect solutions such as CPO and LPO, with the goal of reaching a $25 billion pluggable optical market by 2030. This move makes Sivers’ lasers the default light source in GF’s silicon photonics ecosystem, significantly increasing bandwidth density and energy efficiency, and providing standardized high-performance laser solutions for downstream AI chip manufacturers.

A $25.0 billion market by 2030— the numbers are impressively eye-catching, but silicon photonics is indeed ramping up.

Serenity, this move is too solid—Sivers directly bound GF, and the CPO track is about to take off
