Stop-loss really feels like a breakup, you know it's not right but you keep dragging it out, saying "wait a bit longer," when in fact you're just giving yourself an excuse. The longer you drag it, the more painful it gets, and you have to pay "interest"—your attention is occupied, your emotions are worn down, and in the end, the final blow is even harsher. Recently, funding rates are almost twisted into a pretzel, and in the group, people are arguing whether to reverse or keep squeezing the bubble. I just want to laugh listening to it: basically, everyone is just finding reasons for their positions. My rule now is simple: admit when you're wrong, cut half first, and let the market slap the rest in the face. Don’t argue with yourself anymore, it’s just too uncomfortable… a bit of “self-inflicted harm,” huh.
