Insider: Low creditworthiness in the U.S. prompts Iran to take a tough stance

Odaily Star Daily News reports that, according to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, a source from Iran’s negotiating team said: “The U.S.’s history of bad faith and lack of trust have led Iran to act with a high level of firmness. The current situation is that the United States is worried about war, while we are worried about the agreement. Given past experience, we must work hard to ensure we obtain practical benefits.” (Jinshi)
