Ministry of Commerce: China and South Asian countries’ total trade volume has surpassed the $200 billion mark in 2025, up 10.7% year-on-year.

Deputy Minister of Commerce Yan Dong introduced at the State Council Information Office press conference that by 2025, China and South Asian countries' trade volume will surpass 200 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 10.7%. In the first four months of this year, China’s trade with South Asia continued to maintain a good growth momentum, with trade volume increasing by 15.8% year-on-year. China is currently the largest trading partner of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. (People’s Financial News)
