Opus 4.8 triggers a bug causing frantic calls to sub-agents, Anthropic urgently resets Pro and Max usage limits.
Anthropic officially announces that the 5-hour limit and weekly usage quota have been reset for Pro/Max subscription users, and the issue has been fixed.
Investigations show that some Claude Code sessions generate a large number of parallel sub-agents, causing abnormal acceleration in resource consumption.
The official clarification states that the problem was caused by a defect in handling requests for Opus 4.8 and is unrelated to dynamic workflows.
