Trump insists that the US-Iran agreement "explicitly prohibits" Iran from developing nuclear weapons

U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media on May 31, accusing Cable News Network (CNN) of publishing “fake news” about Iran, and insisting that the U.S.-Iran agreement “clearly states that Iran will not possess nuclear weapons.” In the post, Trump wrote: “Fake news CNN is at it again today, claiming that my Iran nuclear deal does not involve nuclear issues, but in fact, the agreement explicitly states: Iran will not possess nuclear weapons. The agreement also discusses all aspects of nuclear issues in extremely detailed terms. In fact, most of the agreement is about this.” (Xinhua News Agency)
