I've been thinking about something recently:

Some orders I hold for half a month or even a month, yet I keep opening short-term trades for everyone, with both losses and gains. What’s the point?

Later, I realized—it's to cater to everyone. Because most retail traders aren’t actually trying to make money; they’re just chasing “thrills.” For the excitement, for that moment of heartbeat acceleration.

They don’t understand the trend. K-line charts over minutes or hours can scare them away, and the pressure near liquidation levels directly causes them to break down. They forget the essence of crypto trading: identify the trend correctly, then be patient and wait.

Even a few days ago, I posted about starting to short around 73k, even if we haven't reached 75k yet, at least the initial position was for a long-term hold. I think many people, even after seeing the post and taking this trade, probably already closed their positions by now.

They can’t hold onto trades, opening orders just for the sake of opening, with no discipline—how can such a state possibly make money in this market? #Gate正式推出股票交易
