Today (June 1, 2026), the official Gate platform announced the launch of TradFi US stock trading services. The "Haystack" preview image posted by the official account a few days ago is actually a pun (Hey Stock).

This time, Gate is making a big move into the US stock track, with several core points you should pay attention to:
1. What's the gameplay?
Buy actual stocks/ETFs directly: In Gate's spot trading, users can directly buy and sell over 8,000 US stocks and ETFs (covering blue chips and small caps).
Very low threshold: Supports fractional shares trading, starting as low as $5, and mainly offers zero commissions.
Settlement method: Mainly using GT, but also supports USDT.
2. Is this compliant? (Has the underlying structure changed)
You might remember that in 2021, Gate also launched stock tokens for Tesla and Apple, but they were delisted after three months due to regulatory pressure. This time is different:
Gate is collaborating with Nest Trading and US-licensed broker Alpaca (a giant holding over 90% market share in tokenized US stocks) to handle real stock custody and dividend distribution through Alpaca backend.
The official statement clearly indicates that the underlying assets are compliant custodianship of real holdings.
3. Any other big moves coming?
bStocks plan: Will be launched in the coming weeks. Turning traditional stocks into programmable on-chain assets for DeFi lending or liquidity provision.
Would you be willing to allocate some funds to try it out?
GT-2.52%
TSLA-0.48%
AAPL-0.41%
