Over $5.4 billion in assets have been withdrawn following the rsETH attack on Aave, with on-chain lending demand shifting to protocols like Spark.
ME News April 19th, citing Ember Monitoring, reported that hackers used Aave collateral to illegally mint rsETH and borrow a large amount of Ethereum, causing over $540 million in assets to be urgently withdrawn from Aave. Sun Yuchen also withdrew 65,584 ETH from Aave, worth approximately $154 million. On-chain lending demand has shifted to protocols like Spark, where Spark's ETH deposit rate once soared to 130%, now around 18%. Source: Foresight News
