U.S. stock market closing review: The three major indices all closed higher, with the Nasdaq closing above 27,000 points for the first time

Mars Finance News, June 2: The three major U.S. stock indices closed higher collectively. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.09% to 51,078.88; the S&P 500 index rose 0.26% to 7,599.96; and the Nasdaq Composite index rose 0.42% to 27,086.81. Cloud computing service providers (CSP) led the gains, with Nebius rising more than 14%, CoreWeave rising nearly 14%, and Oracle rising nearly 10%. Nvidia rose more than 6%, adding $319 billion in market value, after the company announced the launch of the RTX Spark superchip to enter the PC market. Driven by this news, Dell rose nearly 11% and HP rose more than 8%; Qualcomm fell nearly 9% and Intel fell more than 4%. In addition, Micron Technology’s share price broke above $1,000 for the first time, while SanDisk rose nearly 4%, IBM rose more than 7%, TSMC rose more than 4%, and all closed at record highs. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closed up 1.47%. Among constituent stocks, Kingsoft Cloud rose more than 8%, Pony.ai rose more than 7%, Bilibili rose 6%, and Alibaba rose nearly 1%; Baidu fell more than 2%. (Kebao News Report)
