Anthropic files for IPO, aiming to go public in the fall

Crypto news, Anthropic reportedly has secretly submitted a draft S-1 filing for an IPO, competing with its longtime rival OpenAI to go public as early as this fall on Wall Street. The company stated in a blog post on Monday that the number of shares to be issued and the price have not yet been determined. Recently, Anthropic, OpenAI, and SpaceX have all been advancing their IPO plans to open up a strong potential funding channel. In its latest funding round, Anthropic raised $65 billion, with a valuation of $965 billion, marking its first valuation surpassing that of competitor OpenAI. As customers seek to use its tools to simplify coding and other tasks, demand for Anthropic has surged. According to sources, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley are expected to be considered for key roles in the Anthropic and OpenAI IPO projects.
