The CoinGecko team identified the most volatile crypto assets for 2025 and 2026. Private coins, exchange tokens, and AI projects led.
Zcash (ZEC) was the most volatile in 2025, rising over 800% amid interest in privacy. Other top tokens were WhiteBIT Token (WBT), Monero (XMR), and OKB.
In 2026, AI tokens dominated. Venice (VVV) led with gains over 1000%, followed by SkyAI and Siren. CoinGecko notes the market is shifting from traditional infrastructure to riskier AI assets where speculation is concentrated.
