Crypto Circle Li Ying: Analysis of Ethereum (ETH) Latest Market Trends and Trading Recommendations as of June 2
Article release date: June 2, 2026 — 00:30
Folks, today's Ethereum movement is really frustrating! The current price is 1968, dropping from the high of 2197 in May, sliding all the way down. Now it’s like being pressed on the floor and rubbed. Looking at the candlestick chart, recent rebounds have lacked strength; as soon as it hits resistance above, it turns downward again. It feels like the bears still hold the upper hand. But don’t panic; after a big drop, there might be a rebound opportunity, but we need to wait for confirmation signals, or else we risk chasing after it halfway up. Today, let’s break it down thoroughly to see how to operate safely.
First, look at the EMA moving average system: EMA7, EMA30, EMA120 are in a bearish arrangement, with short-term averages below long-term averages, indicating the medium- and long-term downtrend remains unchanged. The current price is firmly suppressed by the moving averages, and when it rebounds to around EMA7, resistance is easily encountered, leading to a pullback. Looking at MACD, the green bars have shortened but haven't turned red, indicating weak oscillation, and the bearish momentum hasn't been fully released. The Bollinger Bands are more intuitive: the middle band at 2004 is a strong resistance, and the lower band at 1965 is a short-term support. The price is hugging the lower band; if it breaks below, a new downtrend could begin. If it holds above the lower band, there’s a chance for a rebound toward the middle band. Overall, the indicators resonate in favor of a bearish dominance, so be cautious about bottom fishing.
Short-term reference:
- Buy at 1960-1930, exit if it breaks below 1900, target 1990 aiming for above 2040
- Sell at 2030-2040, exit if it breaks above 2060, target 2020 aiming for below 2000
