Deep Tide TechFlow News, June 1st, the Zcash Foundation has released Zebra 4.5.1, fixing a critical consensus security vulnerability and strongly recommending all node operators to upgrade immediately. The announcement states that the previously released 4.5.0 yesterday did not fully address the fix for GHSA-gf9r-m956-97qx, and the Sigop count issue in P2SH could still potentially lead to consensus splits. Zebra 4.5.1 has completed the fix through restoring and correcting the Rust implementation. Currently, there are no known alternatives; upgrading is the only way to ensure nodes stay on the correct chain.
