Trump: Iran is "extremely eager to reach an agreement"! Criticizes domestic politicians for meddling: "Shut up and watch me perform"

The U.S.-Iran peace agreement negotiations have entered a critical moment. Today (1st), U.S. President Donald Trump once again spoke out via Truth Social. He sent an optimistic signal, saying that Iran is very eager to reach an agreement that would be favorable to the United States. However, Trump quickly changed his tone, harshly criticizing Democrats and some Republican politicians who keep meddling in the pace of the negotiations and the war options, complaining that this makes his job “much more difficult.” In the end, he confidently addressed his critics with a bold message: “Just sit back and relax,” assuring them that there will ultimately be a good outcome.

After previewing to the world that it will make a “final decision” on the U.S.-Iran peace agreement soon, President Trump clearly seems quite impatient with the noise in U.S. domestic politics.

On June 1, 2026, Trump posted his latest update on his personal social platform Truth Social, sharing the atmosphere of the Iran negotiations while launching a fierce barrage at political opponents in Washington.

Reveals that Iran urgently needs an agreement, guaranteeing it will be favorable to the U.S.

Against the Middle East situation that is currently drawing intense global attention, Trump released a fairly positive signal at the start of his post, trying to soothe both the market and the American public’s mood. He wrote:

“Iran really hopes to be able to reach an agreement, and this will be an agreement that is very favorable to the United States and to those standing with us.”

Attacks politicians for meddling: It makes my negotiations very difficult

However, Trump immediately turned his sights on domestic critics. Using his usual strongly worded language, he singled out Democrats (he mockingly spells it as Dumocrats) and some Republicans whom he believes are “seemingly unpatriotic.”

Trump complained that these “political hacks,” to an unprecedented extent, keep publishing negative comments from the sidelines. They constantly tell Trump what to do, urging him to “move faster, or move slower; go to war, or not go to war.”

“Don’t they understand that when they keep ‘chirping’ from the sidelines, it makes it much more difficult for me to carry out my work properly and conduct the negotiations?” Trump wrote, expressing strong dissatisfaction with domestic political interference in diplomatic negotiations.

At the end of the post, Trump issued a commanding directive to all skeptics: “Just sit back and relax, and in the end everything will be resolved—things will always work out for the better! President DJT.”
