Beijing's first space computing industry innovation center officially established
On June 1, the Beijing Satellite Internet of Things Conference was held in Haidian, where it announced the establishment of the city’s first space computing industry innovation center. The center was approved and established by the Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, with Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications taking the lead to form a coalition with leading industry enterprises. The center implements a “company + alliance” model and focuses on six major breakthrough directions: high-reliability, heat-resistant space-native computing chips; space computing payloads; space computing satellite platforms and standards system; space large models for power-consumption and reliability constraints; integrated space–ground communication, measurement, control, and cloud-based operations; and servitization of space computing and Tokenized operations. It connects end-to-end full-stack collaboration across the entire chain—from chips, hardware, platforms, intelligence, and networks to applications—building a space computing original industry ecosystem.
