Odaily Planet Daily News: The robotics AI training data startup Mecka AI announced a total funding of $60 million, including $25 million in Series A funding in November last year, and an additional $35 million investment later, both led by Framework Ventures, with Menlo Ventures, SV Angel, and other institutions participating.

The company was founded in 2025, currently has about 40 employees, and relies on sensors, mobile phones, and custom hardware to collect gesture, gait, and other human motion data to train robots. Unlike traditional remote operation training modes, this approach aims to improve the robot's real-world adaptation capabilities. Currently, the company has sufficient signed orders, with an annualized revenue run rate expected to reach $100 million.

Investors stated that Mecka AI is one of the fastest-growing companies in revenue within its portfolio. The company will further extend its business chain to involve robot model training and deployment, accelerating the commercialization of related technologies. (Fortune)
