The Cardano Foundation announced the cancellation of the originally scheduled Cardano Summit in Singapore in 2026. Previously, the treasury funding proposal submitted by the foundation received support from the majority of DReps (delegated representatives), but it did not reach the two-thirds supermajority threshold required for approval of the fund expenditure, so it was not approved. At the same time, EMURGO’s independently submitted proposal for the 3.3 million ADA TOKEN2049 Singapore event has been approved.
