Deep Tide TechFlow News: On June 1, Iranian Supreme Leader’s Military Adviser Mohsen Rezaei recently said in an interview that for the United States, continuing the current war is “a dead end,” and that negotiation is the only viable path forward. Rezaei said that Iran is prepared: if the U.S. continues its maritime blockade of Iran, Iran will launch an attack to break the blockade. Rezaei also said that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran has pioneered a new combat system centered on “asymmetric warfare,” relying on high-cost-performance drones to strike high-value targets belonging to the enemy. Mohsen Rezaei previously served as the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, where he led the development of Iran’s military theory system. He now serves as a military adviser to the Iranian Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, and is also a member of Iran’s National Interests Committee. (Jin10)
