Rezaei said that Iran is ready: if the U.S. maritime blockade against Iran continues, Iran will launch attacks to break the blockade. Rezaei also stated that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has pioneered a new operational system centered on “asymmetric warfare,” relying on high cost-performance drones to strike the enemy’s high-value targets. Mohsen Rezaei previously served as the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, spearheading the construction of Iran’s military theory system; he now serves as a military adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, and is also a member of Iran’s National Interests Committee.
