I don't know why the spot price is higher than the contract, but trading the spot isn't as good as trading the contract.

Is the spot premium so high because some small exchanges are having difficulty issuing tokens?

The LAB token has a small market cap, and the decoupling of prices on both sides is normal; arbitrage traders probably have already taken advantage.

My understanding is that the contract will still be pulled.

The liquidity on the spot side is too poor; even a slightly larger buy order can cause it to fly up, while the futures side is actually deeper.

It’s recommended to wait for the convergence of the fair-value spread before entering again. Right now, going long or short could both get you hit by either side.
