American anonymous individual applies to the court to declare Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin as "lost property," attempting to claim it for themselves
According to Galaxy Research, the New York Supreme Court accepted a lawsuit in March this year, seeking to declare ownership of approximately 3.7 million bitcoins and 39,069 addresses (including Satoshi Nakamoto's address) under the abandoned property law. The plaintiffs are pseudonym Noah Doe and two Wyoming LLCs. The victory only resulted in a court declaration; they cannot obtain the private keys but can assert ownership rights in regulatory venues and raise objections with exchanges.
