Lately, people have been watching big on-chain transfers and exchange hot/cold wallet movements again—every time something moves, they shout, “Smart money is coming.” I find it kind of sleep-inducing… To be blunt, a lot of the time you think you smell an opportunity, but you’re just standing in someone else’s sandwich bread, casually handing over transaction fees. Arbitrage crews and MEV robots are too fast. Being slow to react like me can’t keep up—if I force it, I only end up feeding the slippage.

What I regret isn’t the outcome, but every time I already know I don’t understand something and I still get antsy and click confirm. Now I’d rather be a little slower: first, check whether the liquidity is enough, what the depth looks like, and whether there are obvious signs of order sweeping. If not, then let it go. Missing out is better than getting trapped—comfortably. Anyway, the market has drama every day; just don’t treat yourself like the protagonist.
