Egypt reiterated its firm opposition to any actions that infringe on Lebanon's territory and once again expressed support for Lebanon's national unity, government institutions, and territorial integrity. The statement said that Israel's continued expansion of military operations will lead to further escalation of the situation, and the United Nations Security Council and influential international parties must urgently and decisively fulfill their responsibilities to stop this aggression.
