Lately, people keep talking about data availability, ordering, and finality—hearing all these terms makes my head spin… I’ve got my own main thread: who is actually “keeping the books,” and whether I can pull the账 back out and go through it again when I need to. The books can be seen by everyone (the data is available), who comes first and who comes later shouldn’t be up to chance (the ordering shouldn’t be chaotic), and in the end, don’t say you can just change it anytime (finality should be steady). To put it plainly, it’s these three steps.

As for the whole staking/sharing security thing, people have been arguing about “Russian-doll” effects lately—I’m being even more cautious. Stacking rewards on top of each other feels great, but once something goes wrong with the underlying ledger, the domino reaction could come faster than my liquidation. Anyway, I’d rather make a little less now and have the worst-case scenario already written into my head.
