Hangzhou Base is operational, and the robots now have a national-level vocational skills training center.
On May 16, the National Artificial Intelligence Application Pilot Base for embodied intelligence was officially listed and put into operation in Hangzhou, providing a national-level vocational skills training ground and helping embodied intelligence move from the lab to real-world applications. The base integrates scenario experience, technical showcases, R&D collaboration, and industry enablement. On May 1, Hangzhou released its first local regulation on embodied-intelligence robots, supporting core R&D and opening up scenarios. Currently, Hangzhou has more than 700 robotics companies, and in 2025, the output value of the embodied intelligence industrial cluster is expected to reach 106.8 billion yuan.
