These past few days, I've been debating whether to go with L2 or the mainnet, honestly it's a tug-of-war between saving gas and peace of mind. For small amounts and frequent rebalancing, I basically leave it on L2, treating it as a "daily garden," with low fees, and when I get the itch to trim a bit, I don't mind. But once it's for long-term holding or involves permissions/bridges/complex contracts, I prefer to go back to the mainnet, even if it's more expensive, just for clearer boundaries and peace of mind.

Recently, everyone keeps talking about staking unlocks, token unlock schedules, and the anxiety of selling pressure, and as soon as that comes up, they want to move positions back and forth. I tend to slow down intentionally: keep liquidity on L2 to handle short-term fluctuations, and keep core positions on the mainnet without messing around. My compromise is to layer it—experience on L2, certainty on the mainnet—so that gas fees don't ruin my mindset.
